This ceiling fan looking Nuvola Air Purifier is designed by an Industrial Designer and Project Manager Yana Klimava.

Nuvola

The concept

Polluted air particles are a main factor that triggers respiratory diseases like asthma in children and adults in urban areas. In recent years, numerous air purifiers are designed to eliminate smoke, insect particles, pollen, fumes and dust. Yana Klimava designed Nuvola Air Purifier primarily for the allergic and asthmatic kids. The purifier is attached on the ceiling like a ceiling fan and it can be activated by a remote control. Yana reveals that the Nuvola is essentially directed towards children with age below 19 years old.

The inspiration

From the look of it, the Nuvola is clearly designed from nature and it looks like a cloud (‘nuvola’ Italian for cloud). It is built to perfectly fit on the ceiling fan, which offers an improved boosts and reach the projected functionality of air cleaning in the children’s bedroom.

What’s different?

It is attached to the ceiling to properly access the surrounding air and does not occupy a lot of space. It is also designed for allergic and asthmatic children. The body of the Nuvola is rigid, impervious and shiny.

What is in it for me

Its design patterned from a cloud, really fits the children’s room. It has two fluorescent lamps that function as a ceiling lamp.

The product contains a remote control for easy control, which can also be clipped on the wall. When it’s time to change the filter, the indicator light lights up.
